L'Europa del dialogo con l'Islam.
"We are not doubting that good faith of Mr Erdogan, but to what extent can today's and tomorrow's governments make Turkish society embrace Europe's human rights values," French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin said in an interview Thursday. "Do we want the river of Islam to enter the riverbed of secularism?" he told the Wall Street Journal Europe. A Danish euroskeptic member of the European Parliament, Jens-Peter Bonde, told Reuters: "Verheugen has today said Turkey is ready...(but) for me the question is whether the EU is ready for Turkey."
